The problem
The business needed a software platform of its own — something no off-the-shelf product covered — and a technical partner who would stay involved after launch rather than hand over a codebase and disappear. The vision: give companies a single place to put their documents to work, instead of knowledge sitting unused in scattered files and folders.
What Estara built
A full custom platform where companies upload their files and then work with them intelligently: asking questions in plain language, comparing documents, calculating percentages, analysing general regulatory compliance and tracking usage. It syncs with the file systems businesses already use — OneDrive, SharePoint and Dropbox — and a full account hierarchy of admins, team leaders, members and viewers keeps everyone's access appropriate to their role.
Delivered with regular demos through development, and extended continuously since — it has been in active development for months and performing strongly, with new features scoped, built and shipped as the business evolves.
The outcome
- The platform is now a core part of how the business runs
- Company documents have become a resource teams can query, compare and check — not just store
- Existing file storage stays exactly where it is, synced rather than migrated
- Changes and new features delivered quickly, without a new procurement cycle each time
- Ongoing support that hasn't dropped off since launch
“James built us a full software platform and has kept developing it with us ever since. Whenever we need a change or something new added, it gets done quickly and properly. It's become a core part of how we run the business, and the support has never dropped off.”— Okey Anozie, Director, Kognitive360
